Biography

Communicating visually was an outlet for Rebecca Jones from a young age reflecting her feelings and inspired by her observations and energetic essences of the world around her. She saw the women in her life creating with their hands and so she did too.

Visual communication by way of graphic design became her profession and she has been working in the Seattle area for over 20 years. In the last few years she has been exploring her vision of personal creative freedom through visual art.

Nature has been a consistent inspiration for Rebecca and is a thread throughout all of her personal work. She is inspired and moved in both uplifting and melancholy ways about the intersection of humans and nature. How nature adapts to humanity’s influences and how at times nature asks humanity to adapt to her. There is a unique form of communication happening between both if we can interpret the messages.
